Blade & Soul KR Update: New Skills & Major Skill Update for All Classes – bladeandsoulpot.com

Blade & Soul KR has released a new update in the test server  in June, including new skills, a major skill update for all classes, new map area, new main story quests and new weapons. Take note that these skill updates are not final; changes are expected when it is released in the official server on 22nd June.

Skill Changes – 10th June

Skill Changes – 15th June

Blade Master

Blade Hit (F) (the skill to replace Blade Guard)
– Tier 3 Stage 3: The duration of Scorching status from successful hit during Correction Stance is increased from 2 sec to 3 sec
– Tier 3 Stage 3: The duration of Blade Chi status from successful hit during Correction Stance is increased from 2 sec to 5 sec.

Lunar Slash (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: The duration of Scorching status from successful hit is increased from 2 sec to 3 sec
– Tier 3 Stage 3:  The duration of Blade Chi status from successful hit is increased from 2 sec to 3 sec
– Tier 2 Stage 3: damage increase

Raid (2)
new Tier 3 Stage 1: reduce Focus consumption of Honed Slash (RB) by 1 within 3 sec after successful hit with Raid

Five Point Strike (3)
– Stage 2: remove effect – generate 1/1/2/3/4 Focus on hit; add effect – recover 2 Focus per hit

Flicker (LB)
– Tier 3 Stage 3: remove effect – generate 1 Focus on critical hit

Flame Circle (4) – new skill
– The name is changed to “Scorching Slash”
– generate 1 Focus instead of 2

Blade Storm (X)
– Tier 2 Stage 1:  The duration of Scorching status from casting is reduced from 6 sec to 4 sec

Soaring Falcon (Z)
– Tier 5 Stage 3: induce Deep Wound status for 12 sec on hit.

Winged Protector (1)
– add effect: dispel Frost Prison of party members
– add effect: grant a protective shell on party members except yourself for 5 sec
* note: members with the protective shell cannot be auto-targeted by skills

Second Wind (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

Dragontongue (RB)
– Focus generation is decreased from 4 to 2
– CD reduction of Lunar Slash (TAB) is reduced from 2 sec to 1 sec

Lightning Draw (4)
– Tier 5 Stage 2:  The duration of Blade Chi status on hit is increased from 2 sec to 3 sec.

 

Kungfu Master

Rising Dragon (Z)
– Tier 5 Stage 1/2/3: Inflict Deep Wound for 12 sec on hit

Tremor (V)
– new Stage 4 skill path

Second Wind (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

Comet Strike (4)
– Tier 4 Stage 3: the effect of “can be cast instantly cast once more on crit” is changed to “can be instantly cast once more on hit”

Back Step (SS)
– Tier 1 Stage 1: CD is changed to 8 sec
– Tier 1 Stage 1: remove effect – gain Agility on resist
– Tier 1 Stage 1: movement distance is changed to 8m (from 5m)

 

Destroyer

Impale (F) (the new skill from Restraint status)
– AoE is changed to 3m

Gust (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

 

Force Master

Wind Storm (F)
– remove the trigger requirement of  casting on Knock downed or Grappled enemies
– Tier 2 Stage 1: trigger requirement of “Grappled, Grabbed, Phantom Gripped” is changed to “Dazed, Stunned, Knockdowned”
– Tier 3/5 Stage 1: removed
– Stage 2: skill path removed
– casting priority is adjusted to be lower than Dual Dragons, Dragonblaze, Fire Fury, Divine Realm

Second Wind (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

 

Assassin

Bolt Strike (3)
– Stage 2: skill path removed

Shadow Drain (1)
– remove effect: inflict 1 stack of Poison
– the Stealth duration after hitting poisoned target is reduced from 9 sec to 6 sec

Hook Kick (TAB)
– CD is changed to 12 sec
– revert the skill chaining time (which was updated on 10th June)

Sidewinder (1)
– Stage 2: CD is changed to 12 sec

Lightning Stride (RB)
– the new effect (updated on 10th June) is moved to Tier 1 Stage 1
– Tier 1 Stage 1: CD cannot be refreshed

Lightning Pierce (F)
– remove effect: Inflict 1 stack of Poison
– remove effect: deal additional damage on target with 5 stacks of Poison
– increase base damage
– Focus consumption is changed to 1
– remove effect: deal additional damage on grabbed, phantom gripped target

Dark Strike (F)
– remove effect: deal additional damage on grabbed, phantom gripped target

Venom Pierce (RB)
– add trigger requirement: when Lightning Pierce (F) crit

Plaguemist (4)
– restore the skill path

Spinal Tap (LB)
– revert the skill chaining time (which was updated on 10th June)

Lotus Fury, Lotus Kick (C)
– revert the skill chaining time (which was updated on 10th June)

Cyclone Sweep (1)
– unable to apply Knockdown, Daze combo

Landmine (Z)
– Base, Stage 1: able to apply Knockdown, Daze combo

Heart Stab (RB)
– Tier 2 Stage 1: the effect of “instantly cast on Stunned, Dazed, Grabbed, Phantom Gripped target” is changed to “instantly cast on Stunned, Dazed target”

Mist Slash (LB)
– Tier 5 Stage 1: the effect of “next Heart Stab (RB) has guaranteed critical hit on crit” is changed to “can cast Dark Strike (F) on crit”

Shadow Dance (Q)
– Tier 2 Stage 1: the effect of “next Heart Stab (RB) has guaranteed critical hit on resist” is changed to “increase 30% movement speed for 6 sec on resist”

Stealth (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

Stomp (TAB)
– CD is changed to 30 sec

 

Summoner

Lunge (TAB)
– revert the changes implemented on 10th June; able to Stun enemies on 2 consecutive strikes

True Friends (X)
– Stage 2: add effect – recover 10% HP

Flying Nettles (F), Briar Patch (4)
–  remove effect: does not generate Threat

Beckon (E)
– Stage 2: cannot apply Knockdown combo

Backstep (2)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

Seed Shroud (4)
– Tier 5 Stage 1: refresh Rumblebee (RB) on success.

 

Blade Dancer

Second Wind (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

 

Warlock

Imprison (3)
– Tier 4 Stage 1:  change to 3 hit attack
– Tier 5 Stage 1: damage increase
– Tier 5 Stage 1: add effect –  Brand target for 10 sec
– Tier 3 Stage 1: cannot apply Stun combo

Second Wind (2)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison

 

Soul Fighter

Elbow Smash (1)
– Tier 2 Stage 3: CD is changed to 6 sec
– Tier 2 Stage 3: add effect – increase 20% crit damage for 3 sec when Flaming Twin Cobra hits
– Tier 2 Stage 3: recover HP equal to 10% of damage
– Tier 5 Stage 3: the duration of resist on Counter is increased from 1 sec to 1.5 sec

Blast Punch (F)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: increase 20% crit damage for 5 sec on hit
– Tier 3 Stage 1: damage increase
– Tier 3 Stage 1: recover HP equal to 50% of damage

Explosive Power (F)
– Tier 4 Stage 1: increase 1% crit rate for 3 sec on hit (max 5 stacks)
– Tier 4 Stage 1: damage increase

Azure Fist (RB)
– Tier 5 Stage 1: damage increase

Right Blue Palm (RB)
– Tier 5 Stage 3: damage increase

Power Burst (X)
– add effect: increase 60% movement speed for 5 sec

Shadow Dance (Q), Footwork (E)
– CD is changed to 12 sec

Chi Beam (F) (the new skill on Restraint target)
– range is increased to 16m

Second Wind (TAB)
– Tier 3 Stage 1: Escape from Frost Prison
